Kestrels Cubs had an exciting evening learning essential outdoor skills. Using flints, they practiced the art of firelighting under close supervision, gaining confidence and understanding of fire safety.

Once their campfires were lit, everyone enjoyed toasting marshmallows and making delicious s’mores together.

The session finished with a demonstration on how to safely extinguish the fires and a group effort to tidy up the area.
