Brownsea 2025

Over the May Bank Holiday 44 Cubs, Scouts and Leaders embarked on a camp to Brownsea Island, Poole.

Lord Baden Powell held his first ever Scout Camp on Brownsea Island so to be able to camp on the Island is very special.

We caught the ferry to the Island and then walked to our campsite on the Saturday. The weather was kind to us and were able to set up camp before the rain sent in!.

Scouts and Cubs took part in a Wide Game in the evening.

Sunday was a great day, everybody went on a Rib Ride from the Island around to Swanage and back.

On our return we then spent the afternoon exploring the Island.

Monday came round quickly, we packed up camp and caught the ferry back to Poole.

Everybody enjoyed the experience of camping on Brownsea.
