The role of the Group Chair is great fun and involves leading a fantastic team of volunteers to coordinate all aspects of running the Scout Group and provide excellent financial support and facilities to the Group Lead Volunteer and their team of Leaders. Specific aspects of the role include:

Chair the Group Trustee Board, with regular meetings throughout the year, and chair the AGM

Work closely with the Group Lead Volunteer and share executive and leadership meetings throughout the Group

Represent the Group at occasional District and/or County meetings, and provide reports and information as required.
